This page collects the monthly pay stated in 16 adverts for marketing executives and social media marketers that were open on Work.ke in late September and early October 2026. Each figure is what the employer or its recruitment agency advertised, usually gross monthly pay rather than take-home pay, and each row links to the original advert below.

Figures are copied as stated in each advert and sorted from lowest to highest. Ranges show the advertised band; rows marked plus commission or plus incentive show only the guaranteed part. None of the figures is net take-home pay.

What the adverts show

Across the 16 adverts, stated pay runs from KSh 20,000 to KSh 50,000 a month. The middle advert sits at about KSh 33,800.

All 16 adverts were posted by recruitment agencies. Agency adverts often hold back the employer's name, so the agency is shown instead and you apply through it.

2 of the adverts add commission on top of the stated figure, so the table shows only the guaranteed part for those roles.

What moves the number

Social media and digital marketing roles span the whole table, from KSh 25,000 to KSh 50,000, so the title alone tells you little. A portfolio of real campaigns, with numbers, is the strongest argument for the higher end.

Hotel marketing roles sit at the lower end, from KSh 20,000 to KSh 35,000, and several are outside Nairobi, in places such as Sagana and Kirinyaga.

Before you accept an offer

Advertised pay is usually gross monthly pay. Your take-home pay is lower after PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the housing levy; use the net salary calculator linked below to estimate it before you compare offers.

Ask for a written offer that states the basic salary, any allowances, how commission or bonuses are calculated, the contract length and the probation period. A figure in an advert is a starting point, not a promise.
