Process Excellence Operations Lead

• Review current workflows in warehousing, inventory, procurement, and logistics to find gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to simplify processes, cut costs, speed up cycle times, and strengthen controls.
• Create and roll out standard operating procedures and playbooks for consistent use across locations.
• Collaborate with teams to test, implement, and monitor improvements ensuring they are adopted and maintained.
• Document processes clearly with SOPs, maps, and checklists to ensure consistency.
• Enhance operational controls like inventory reconciliation and stock handovers to reduce recurring issues.
• Collect and analyse operational data to identify trends and risks, and develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and progress on improvements.
• Coordinate with finance, technical, and operations teams to align on process changes and embed continuous improvement practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• 4 to 6 years’ experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, consulting, or process improvement roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and suggest practical solutions.
• Experience in process mapping and gathering requirements while working with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with project management methods such as Agile or Waterfall and experience supporting operational improvements.
• Good understanding of supply chain functions including warehousing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel or Google Sheets and experience with data visualisation platforms, including AI-enabled tools.
• Experience using ERP or operational systems related to supply chain, inventory, or logistics management.
• Ability to work with complex data sets to generate insights and communicate findings clearly to various stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills to translate operational topics into actionable recommendations.
