What you will do
- Plan and design structures for buildings, civil and marine works.
- Supervise construction activities.
- Manage project administration.
- Prepare tender documents and cost estimates for civil, structural and marine projects.
- Supervise staff within the structural engineering unit.
Requirements
- Have served at least three years as a Senior Engineer (Structural) or in a comparable public service role.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
- Be registered with the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB).
- Possess a current valid annual practising licence from ERB.
- Be a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).
- Demonstrate administrative skills for directing, controlling and implementing structural programmes, including supervising professional and technical staff.
- Show merit and ability through work performance and results.
Benefits
The position is permanent and pensionable with a salary range of KES 60,896 to 96,130.
