These are statutory minimum rates for the named category, not a survey of typical earnings and not take-home pay. The corrected 2026 General Order labels monthly rates as exclusive of housing allowance, and daily and hourly rates as inclusive of it.
Distinguish night duty from the day-watchman category
Night watchman is a separate entry from the day-watchman category in row 1. Ask the employer to identify the shift arrangement, basic pay and housing treatment. Private security work is separate from police employment and its salary grades.
