About this role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Land & Property Administration

  • Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation relating to land, properties, leases, titles, transfers, and other property interests.
  • Coordinate land searches, title verification, registrations, transfers, subdivisions, leases, and other land administration processes.
  • Liaise with Ardhi Sasa, Land Registries, surveyors, valuers, lawyers, county authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure property and land records remain current, accurate, properly documented, and compliant with applicable requirements.

Real Estate Development

  • Support the identification and assessment of potential property development and investment opportunities.
  • Coordinate feasibility studies covering land use, development potential, market considerations, costs, and expected returns.
  • Support planning and coordination of development projects from concept and approvals through implementation.
  • Monitor project progress, timelines, documentation, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Asset Management

  • Maintain an up-to-date portfolio of land and property assets, including ownership, status, use, development potential, and associated documentation.
  • Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for improved utilization, development, income generation, or value enhancement.
  • Support property inspections, valuations, due diligence, and assessment of existing and potential assets.
  • Prepare regular asset reports and recommendations to support management and investment decisions.

Compliance & Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure land and property activities comply with applicable Kenyan land, planning, zoning, environmental, and property regulations.
  • Monitor title and property-related risks and escalate potential legal, administrative, or ownership issues.
  • Coordinate with legal, technical, financial, government, and external professional teams on property matters.
  • Maintain proper documentation and follow-up on approvals, licences, consents, and statutory requirements.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare property, land, development, and investment reports for management review.
  • Use Excel and other relevant tools to analyze property data, costs, project information, and asset performance.
  • Maintain development schedules, property databases, documentation trackers, and project records.
  • Provide research and analysis to support real estate acquisition, development, and asset-management decisions.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Degree in Land Administration, Land Economics, Real Estate, Property Management, Surveying, GIS, Urban & Regional Planning, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ relevant experience in land administration, property management, property development, real estate investment, or a related field.
  • Good working knowledge of Ardhi Sasa, Land Registry procedures, and Kenyan land laws.
  • Experience in preparing feasibility studies or coordinating property development projects will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, or property management systems will be an added advantage.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
