Pre-Opening Operations Manager (Ranch)

• Lead the operational setup and readiness before opening.
• Create, implement, and improve standard operating procedures for hospitality, guest experiences, ranch activities, housekeeping, and front-of-house.
• Manage the sourcing, ordering, and organisation of operating supplies and equipment with procurement and finance.
• Track and ensure all departments meet operational timelines before soft and grand openings.
• Coordinate with local authorities to secure all necessary permits, licenses, and compliance approvals.
• Build staffing structures, recruit local talent, and lead training programs for service, brand, and safety.
• Design and manage guest experiences and coordinate with estate teams for smooth operations.
• Establish and manage relationships with local suppliers and partners.
• Manage budgets for pre-opening and post-opening operations and control inventory systems for various departments.

• At least 5 years of hospitality management experience, including pre-opening or luxury lodge/ranch roles in East Africa.
• Strong knowledge of the Rift Valley region, including Gilgil, Naivasha, and Nakuru (preferred).
• Proven leadership skills in building and training teams in high-touch hospitality settings.
• Ability to handle both high-level project management and hands-on operational tasks.
• Proficiency with property management systems, inventory control tools, and MS Office or Google Workspace.
