Petroleum Social Development Analyst II

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Sociology, Community Development, Social Work, Anthropology, Development Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, Communication, Monitoring & Evaluation, Sociology & Economics, Project Management, Gender & Development Studies or Public Policy & Administration from a university recognized in Kenya.

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include:- (i) participating in monitoring and evaluation of social development programs; (ii) promotion of collaboration among communities, contractors, and stakeholders; (iii) participating in the development of mechanisms for grievance and dispute resolution; (iv) participating in social performance audits of community development projects; (v) participating in promotion of public awareness and sensitization on petroleum impacts; and (vi) participating in the preparation of feedback mechanisms on matters social development in petroleum operations.
