Petroleum Economic Analyst II - AA- Scale -K

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have a Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Economics and Mathematics, Economics and Statistics, Petroleum Economics, Quantitative Economics, Public Policy Economics, or Statistics from a university recognized in Kenya.

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will include: - (i) collecting, compiling and updating refined petroleum products consumption data; (ii) analyzing data on petroleum projects and programs; (iii) forecasting market trends for crude oil, gas, and refined petroleum products; (iv) participating in monitoring of petroleum supply chains and strategic stocks;
