Housekeeper

• Maintain cleanliness and order in all areas of the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and common spaces.
• Make beds, change linens, replace towels and ensure guest rooms are clean and comfortable.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitize surfaces and furniture as needed.
• Welcome guests warmly and respond promptly to their requests, ensuring their comfort.
• Prepare guest rooms and common areas for arrivals and keep them presentable during occupancy.
• Wash, dry, iron, fold and organize household fabrics such as bed linen and towels.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and report when replenishment is needed.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and maintain cleanliness of storage areas.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or damages to the supervisor or property manager.

• At least two years of proven experience as a Housekeeper.
• Experience in private residences, hotels, lodges or guest houses is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry procedures, linen care and household organisation.
• Understanding of hygiene standards and safe handling of cleaning products.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and prioritise tasks.
• A certificate in housekeeping or hospitality is an added advantage (preferred).

The salary is KSHS 15,500 per month. Accommodation is provided.
