General Manager, Logistics and Freight Forwarding

• Create and execute business and tactical plans aligned with company strategies.
• Manage full profit and loss responsibilities including budgeting and financial reporting.
• Develop sales and growth strategies to increase the customer base and market share.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape and industry trends in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Control costs to reduce waste and financial risks, and manage cash flow through debt collection and expense control.
• Provide regular financial performance reports and variance analysis to senior management and the board.
• Recommend strategic, policy, and organizational improvements.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, including hiring and coaching staff.
• Travel regularly within the region to oversee operations and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Develop strategies to manage credit and operational risks.

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
• Master's degree in a business-related discipline is preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or clearing and forwarding.
• Proven experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, and financial management.
• Experience leading teams in multi-site or multi-functional operations.
• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, analysis, and problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
