Gardener

• Maintain lawns, flower gardens, trees, shrubs, hedges and other landscaped areas to keep them healthy and neat.
• Carry out watering, weeding, pruning, trimming, planting and lawn mowing as needed.
• Remove dead plants and leaves from flower beds and keep garden areas free of litter.
• Assist with planting new flowers, grass, trees and ornamental plants to improve the property's appearance.
• Monitor plant health and identify pests, diseases or other growth issues.
• Apply fertilizers, compost and plant treatments safely and correctly.
• Maintain garden tools and equipment and report any needed repairs.
• Assist with cleaning the swimming pool and keeping the pool area tidy.
• Support basic pool maintenance following safety procedures and report any hazards or equipment problems.
• Keep outdoor areas, pathways and garden entrances clean and presentable.
• Use and store gardening tools, machinery and chemicals safely.
• Perform other outdoor maintenance duties as assigned.

• Proven experience as a Gardener, preferably in a private residence, estate, hotel or similar setting.
• Practical knowledge of lawn care, planting, pruning, watering, weeding and landscaping.
• Familiarity with gardening tools, equipment and basic plant care.
• Experience with swimming pool cleaning and maintenance is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Good physical fitness to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of safe handling and storage of gardening and cleaning chemicals.

The salary is KSHS 15,000 per month. Accommodation is provided.
