Candle Maker

• Prepare materials, tools and equipment for making candles and soap following set procedures.
• Assist in measuring, mixing, melting, pouring and moulding candle-making materials.
• Shape, trim and finish candles to meet size, design and appearance requirements.
• Decorate candles using approved colours and patterns.
• Inspect finished products for defects and separate those needing rework.
• Wrap, label and package finished candles and soaps neatly for storage or delivery.
• Maintain production records and monitor stock levels of raw materials and supplies.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized and safe, reporting any faults or safety issues promptly.

• A certificate in crafts, production, arts and design or related field is an advantage but not required.
• Experience in candle making, soap making, handicrafts, cosmetics production or similar is preferred.
• Ability to perform detailed manual tasks and apply decorative finishes.
• Basic knowledge of packaging, quality control and stock management.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain production records.
• Willingness to learn new production methods and work with various materials.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for measuring and record keeping.

The salary is KSHS.16,000 per month. Accommodation is provided at the job location in Kajiado.
