JOB TITLE:DESIGN SPECIALIST IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: PROJECT DESIGN TEAM LEAD INDIRECT SUPERVISOR:SENIOR BUSINESS MANAGER HEAD OF SALES HUMAN RESOURCES INTERNAL & EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION:INTERNAL (STAFF, DEPARTMENTS). EXTERNAL (VISITORS, CLIENTS). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Design solutions in the security system and live safety systems environments. This includes but are not limited to CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, Entrance Control, IPBAX, and Intercom. Prepare and generate 2D and 3D drawings in AutoCAD and other design software as maybe applicable. This includes working drawings and As Built Drawings. Conduct site surveys and make sketch for solutions design.

Develop and prepare bill of quantities from the designed solutions.
Collaborate with cross functional teams e.g. Project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints. Attending project meetings with the clients and other stakeholders. Manage project communications by means of MoMs. Interact and effectively communicate with various team members in project design work, Identify and provide strategic work solutions to improve design work. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies and design practices and incorporate them into project deliverables. Follow and adhere to the reputed design standards and guidelines as may be applicable. Requirements Diploma or Degree in any Engineering Field, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Urban Planning.
Minimum of 2yrs experience in a similar field. Proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT and any other CAD Design software. Strong understanding of design principles, brand identity, and user centered design methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities. Exceptional attention to details. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
