About this role
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock Management & Control
- Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance and movement of stock, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate availability while identifying slow-moving, excess or low-stock items.
- Ensure stock is properly organised, labelled and stored to minimise damage, loss and discrepancies.
Stock Records & Reconciliation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, registers and inventory documentation.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock against system records to identify variances.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and follow up with relevant teams to ensure corrective action is taken.
ERP & Excel Reporting
- Use ERP systems to record, monitor and track stock movements, balances and adjustments.
- Use Excel to maintain stock trackers, prepare reports and analyse inventory data.
- Ensure all stock information entered into the ERP system and supporting spreadsheets is accurate and updated on time.
Receiving & Issuing Stock
- Verify incoming stock against delivery notes, purchase orders and other supporting documentation before acceptance.
- Ensure stock issued to branches, departments, customers or other authorised recipients is properly documented and approved.
- Maintain accurate records of all receipts, issues, transfers, returns and adjustments.
Stock Audits & Compliance
- Support and participate in periodic stock counts, audits and inventory verification exercises.
- Ensure stock handling and documentation procedures are consistently followed.
- Report losses, damages, unusual stock movements and other inventory concerns promptly to management.
Stock Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare regular reports on stock balances, movements, variances, shortages and other inventory matters.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Warehouse and other relevant teams on stock requirements and discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding stock-related issues and provide timely updates to the relevant supervisor or manager.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement or a related field.
- Over 1 year of experiencein stock management, inventory control, warehouse operations or a related role.
- Practical experience using ERP systems and Excelfor stock management, tracking and reporting.
- Good Excel skills for stock tracking, reconciliation and reporting.
- Experience using ERP systems for inventory management.
- Strong stock control and record-keeping skills.
