What you will do
- Respond quickly to enquiries received via email, phone, WhatsApp, website, and social media.
- Assess potential clients and suggest appropriate training programmes or solutions.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, proposals, and registrations to meet sales goals.
- Seek out new business prospects within various sectors including corporate, government, NGOs, and development agencies.
- Build and maintain relationships with current, past, and potential clients.
- Conduct research and networking to generate leads for institutional clients.
- Create and deliver quotations, proposals, capability statements, and presentations to clients.
- Assist in preparing responses to tenders, proposals, and expressions of interest.
- Encourage repeat business and identify opportunities for additional sales through referrals and upselling.
- Keep detailed and updated records of leads, clients, and sales activities using the CRM system.
- Monitor the sales process from initial contact through to payment and follow-up after training.
- Run marketing campaigns via email, phone, and WhatsApp to reactivate clients.
- Work with training and marketing teams to promote programmes.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, conversion rates, pipeline status, and revenue.
- Watch market trends, competitor actions, and new business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in business development, corporate sales, client engagement, or account management.
- Proven success in meeting sales targets, converting leads, and growing client accounts.
- Experience in business-to-business sales involving corporate organizations, government bodies, NGOs, or development agencies.
- Preferred experience selling corporate training, consulting, professional services, or knowledge-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale relationship management.
- Skilled in preparing proposals, quotations, capability statements, presentations, and client responses.
- Experience managing institutional accounts and building relationships with key decision-makers to secure repeat business.
- Proficient with CRM software, sales pipeline management, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
- Ability to analyse sales data, maintain accurate records, and produce clear weekly and monthly reports.
Benefits
The salary is KSh 70,000 per month.
