The Public Service Commission (PSC) has opened applications for 6,000 internships under the second cohort of the Affordable Housing Programme. Interns will work with the State Department for Housing and Urban Development for 12 months, and the placement cannot be renewed.
The programme covers 28 fields. Among them are architecture, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, land surveying, urban planning, property management, interior design, plumbing and electrical inspection, data science and artificial intelligence, social development and communication.
Who can apply: degree or diploma holders who graduated in 2020 or later, have good computer skills and have not been on a similar internship before. Interns are paid a monthly stipend at the government rate and receive a certificate at the end.
Applications go only through the PSC online recruitment portal, and the deadline is 9 November 2026. Applying is free. If anyone asks you for money to secure a place, it is a scam.
