What you will do

  • Operate the pharmacy following approved SOPs, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Check the quality, quantity, expiry dates, and integrity of pharmaceutical products received.
  • Keep all pharmacy licenses, statutory records, and operational documents accurate and up to date.
  • Follow FEFO principles during storage, dispensing, and billing of medicines.
  • Maintain a clean and professional pharmacy environment and comply with infection control standards.
  • Ensure inventory records in the HMIS are accurate and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages.
  • Apply discounts within company policy, handle cash collections securely, and reconcile sales reports.
  • Provide patients with clear medication instructions and dispense medicines accurately according to prescriptions.
  • Report weekly feedback on procurement, inventory, pricing, and operational matters to headquarters.
  • Escalate issues related to operations, compliance, patient safety, stock, and finances promptly.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve pharmacy efficiency, patient experience, and compliance.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of pharmacy services.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognised and accredited institution.
  • Valid and current Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) licence with no disciplinary history.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a busy retail, clinic-based, or hospital pharmacy.
  • Experience working with a Health Management Information System (HMIS) is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
