About this role
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend to male and female students presenting with illnesses, injuries, or other medical concerns.
- Conduct holistic nursing assessments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
- Provide appropriate treatment and nursing care within the scope of professional practice.
- Administer prescribed medications appropriately and maintain accurate medication records.
- Monitor students’ conditions and provide follow-up care where required.
- Provide first aid and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Record students’ medical information, vital signs, treatment provided, and medications administered accurately and confidentially.
- Consult and coordinate with the Doctor on Duty when further assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or referral is required.
- Provide supervision and guidance to clinic support staff when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinic environment.
- Ensure appropriate handling and availability of medical supplies and equipment.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student medical information.
- Adhere to professional nursing standards, clinic procedures, and relevant health and safety requirements.

• KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from a recognised institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant nursing experience .
- Valid professional registration/licence and practising certificate, where applicable.
- Certificate(s) from recognised professional or healthcare institutions.
- First Aid and/or Basic Life Support certification is an added advantage.
- Strong clinical assessment and nursing skills.
- Good knowledge of basic treatment and medication administration.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgement.
