Cargo builds up /Palletization: o Stacking the boxes on airline equipment’s (ULDs) in accordance to a contour. o Application and tighten the buildup units (BUPs) nets.

o Assist in movement of buildup units (BUPs) through the cold-stores as directed. o Handle all the working tools with utmost care. o Reports any irregularity of shipments and or equipment to the Supervisor. o Retrieve and correct folding and storage of all pallet covers. o Keeps the workplace clean and tidy and assist in the Cold store where needed. o Adheres to all PPE requirements, health and safety SOPs of the working place. o Any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the team leaders 3. Cargo dispatch /Push outs o Assist in movement of buildup units (BUPs) to the dispatch sections as directed. o Ensure application and tightening of all the airline equipment’s (ULDs) nets. o Pallet covers application on all units leaving the warehouse.

o Retrieve and correct folding and storage of all pallet covers after flights loading. o Keeps the workplace clean and tidy and assist in the Cold store where needed. o Adheres to all PPE requirements, health and safety SOPs of the working place. o Any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the team leaders Requirements 1. Academic Qualifications; o KCSE Certificate o Additional training or certification in logistics, warehousing, or forklift operation is an added advantage. 2. Experience; o Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role within a logistics, warehouse, or cold chain environment. o Experience handling perishable goods (e.g., flowers, produce, fruits) is highly desirable. 3.

Technical Skills; o Basic understanding of cargo handling procedures and palletization. o Familiarity with ULD (Unit Load Devices) and airline cargo handling equipment. o Ability to use manual handling tools and basic machinery safely. o Knowledge of cold chain operations is an asset. 4. Physical Requirements: o Ability to lift, move, and stack heavy boxes. o Comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated warehouses or loading bays). o Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods. 5. Behavioral Competencies: o Attention to detail and a strong sense of safety and hygiene. o Good communication and teamwork skills. o Flexible o High level of discipline, reliability, and punctuality. 6.

Compliance: o Must possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct. o Ability to follow all health, safety, and security protocols.
