Data Analyst – Real Estate & Revenue

• Analyse property and portfolio performance using metrics like occupancy, revenue, ADR, RevPAR, booking pace, and cancellations.
• Compare performance across various properties, locations, booking channels, customer segments, and time periods to find trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support pricing, demand forecasting, and revenue management decisions using historical and current data along with market trends.
• Collect, clean, validate, and reconcile data from PMS platforms, OTAs, spreadsheets, and other systems.
• Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering revenue, occupancy, pricing, booking pace, and other KPIs.
• Present findings to management with clear visualisations and practical recommendations.
• Analyse booking trends, seasonality, demand patterns, and lead times to support forecasting and business planning.
• Identify revenue leakage, pricing inefficiencies, and underperforming properties and recommend corrective actions.
• Automate recurring reports and data preparation to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, Finance, and Property Management teams to validate data and improve reporting.
• Support standardised reporting procedures and maintain documentation for continuous improvement.

• Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or Data Science.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, revenue analytics, or real estate analytics.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets including PivotTables and XLOOKUP.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong skills in data cleaning, validation, and visualisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to explain data insights clearly.
• High attention to detail for identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in short-term rentals, serviced apartments, hotels, or property management is preferred.
• Familiarity with booking platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, or PMS systems is preferred.

The salary offered is between KSHS 45,000 and 50,000 per month.
