Role Overview As a Collections Associate, you will play an important role in supporting our customers and maintaining healthy cash flow by ensuring timely payment of outstanding balances. You will engage with customers to follow up on payments, resolve payment-related queries, and maintain accurate collections records. on Work closely with internal teams to identify and resolve customer disputes, invoice discrepancies, and payment-related queries. Ensure issues are addressed promptly and accurately to support timely payment. 3. Relationship Management Build and maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the collections process. Encourage compliance with agreed payment terms while maintaining a positive customer experience. 4. Customer Education Clearly communicate available payment methods, payment terms, and company policies to customers. Ensure customers understand and adhere to the company's payment guidelines. 5. Reporting Provide regular updates on collection performance, payment trends, outstanding balances, and challenges.
Highlight relevant insights and recommendations to support management decision-making. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Prior experience in debt collection, customer service, accounts receivable, or a similar role is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer interactions professionally and confidently. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, and Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Docs. Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
