Carpenter

• Measure, mark, cut, and size MDF boards, plywood, and timber to production specifications.
• Operate panel saws, circular saws, and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Assemble and construct doors following technical drawings and design requirements.
• Fit locks, handles, hinges, and other door hardware accurately.
• Install and align door frames ensuring secure fixing and proper clearances.
• Inspect finished doors for quality, accuracy, and surface preparation.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow workshop safety procedures.

• Certificate or Diploma in Carpentry, Joinery, Wood Technology, or related field is an advantage.
• Proven hands-on experience in carpentry, woodworking, joinery, or door manufacturing.
• Practical knowledge of MDF boards, plywood, timber, and related materials.
• Experience using panel saws, circular saws, power tools, and hand tools.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Knowledge of door assembly, frame fitting, hardware installation, and finishing techniques.
• Understanding of workshop safety and proper handling of woodworking machinery.

The salary is KSHS 30,000 per month.
