What you will do

  • Operate computerized weighbridge systems for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Record and verify weights and vehicle movements related to waste and materials.
  • Generate and maintain accurate weighbridge transaction records and documentation.
  • Capture weighbridge data into ERP systems such as Odoo.
  • Prepare reports on vehicle movements, waste quantities, and related operational data.
  • Reconcile weighbridge records with operational and financial documents.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Laboratory, Security, Transport, and other teams to ensure compliance and control.
  • Report discrepancies, irregularities, and non-compliance issues to management.
  • Support audits by providing accurate records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, waste management, health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of transaction information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of weighbridge procedures and controls.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in weighbridge operations, logistics, waste management, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, construction, or similar industrial environments.
  • Experience with computerized weighbridge systems is preferred.
  • Practical knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
  • Experience in data reconciliation, transaction verification, reporting, and financial controls.
  • Understanding of waste receipt, transportation, disposal documentation, and vehicle movement controls.
  • Knowledge of environmental and waste management regulations related to industrial or oil & gas operations is preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
  • High integrity, accountability, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with various teams.
  • Ability to prepare accurate operational and management reports.
  • Capability to work effectively in remote, fast-paced, and operationally demanding environments.
