Role overview
Job ObjectiveThe Field Documentation and Digital Records Officer will document field activities and maintain accurate, secure and well-organised physical and digital project records across all three projects.
Duties and responsibilitiesDocument interviews, field visits, meetings, training, installations, workshops and stakeholder engagements.Capture approved photographs, audio recordings, videos and field notes.Maintain consent forms, attendance records, transcripts, activity reports and other supporting evidence.Organise records using consistent file names, metadata and version-control procedures.Upload, back up, retrieve and securely share authorised project records.Verify the completeness and accuracy of fiel

d documentation before filing or archiving.Support the integration of approved research materials into relevant digital platforms and archives.Observe confidentiality, research ethics, data-protection, safeguarding and donor-visibility requirements.
qualification and experienceBachelors degree in records management, archives, information management, communication, research or a related field.Experience in field documentation and electronic records management.Competence in photography, audio or video documentation and digital filing systems.Strong attention to detail and understanding of confidentiality and data protection.Experience in Digital archiving is an added advantageMasters degree in the relevant area is an added advantageInterviews will be done on a rolling basis.
