What you will do
- Teach assigned pharmacy units as directed by the Head of Department.
- Design, develop, plan, and deliver various study programmes, including new courses at different levels.
- Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions to students.
- Assess student performance through exams, OSCEs, coursework, and practical evaluations.
- Supervise student research projects, dissertations, and clinical placements.
- Review and update pharmacy course content and materials regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and research activities.
- Conduct research and prepare research grant proposals.
- Participate in consultancies and disseminate research findings at conferences, symposiums, and webinars.
- Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors or as specified in the job description.
Requirements
- For Pharmacology: A Master's degree in Pharmacology or MSc in Molecular Pharmacology from a recognized university; a PhD is an advantage.
- For Pharmaceutics: A Master's degree in Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized university; a PhD is an advantage.
- For Pharmaceutical Chemistry: A Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, or Medicinal Chemistry from a recognized university; a PhD is an advantage.
- For Pharmacognosy: A Master's degree in Pharmacognosy, Pharmacognosy & Complimentary Medicine, Natural Products, or Phytochemistry from a recognized university; a PhD is an advantage.
- For Clinical Pharmacy: A Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy from a recognized university; a PhD is an advantage.
