Role overview
Duties and responsibilitiesTo teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department. Designing, developing, planning and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels. Delivering high-quality lectures and practicals. Reviewing course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required. Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities. Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals. Seeking and participating in consultancies. Presenting research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events. Dissemination of research outputs.

qualification and experienceA Masters in Culinary Arts/ Hospitality Management or Food Production from an recognized/accredited University. A Bachelor's in Culinary Arts/ Hospitality Management or Food Production from an recognized/accredited University. A specialization or professional qualification in Barista Skills and Mixology will be an added advantage.At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience. Demonstrated University-level teaching and research experience. Conversant with both kitchen and restaurant operations Commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis
