What you will do

  • Forecast daily transaction volumes expected from all payout partners worldwide using the Forecasting System.
  • Prepare and release funding wires and execute foreign exchange conversions with banks, network partners, and liquidity providers.
  • Monitor network funding flows and confirm receipt of funds from partners.
  • Assist clients with issues related to incoming prefunding flows.
  • Manage and report on working capital allocated to Treasury.
  • Collaborate with Product and Treasury teams to improve Treasury systems such as forecasting and safeguarding.
  • Perform daily safeguarding procedures for all operating entities.
  • Manage foreign exchange execution flows with payout partners, confirm credit of funds, and book executed deals.
  • Monitor payout partner foreign exchange costs to ensure compliance with pricing agreements.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Treasury role within corporate or financial services with cross-border payments experience.
  • Proficiency in online banking platforms and payment systems including SWIFT, SEPA, GIRO, RTGS; experience with Treasury Management Systems is optional.
  • Knowledge of foreign exchange markets, cross-currency rates, trading concepts, FX margin mathematics, and FX related to cash and liquidity management.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding, forecasting, and reconciliations.
  • Advanced skills in Excel including macros, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Fluent in French.
  • Preferably experience working in Francophone Africa.
