Requirements

  • Master's degree in Management, Social Science, Law, International Relations, Regional Studies, or related field with seven years relevant experience, or a University degree with nine years relevant experience.
  • Experience managing large, multicountry projects or programmes, especially in migration, border management, or law enforcement.
  • Knowledge and experience in migration and border management policy and operations.
  • Background in immigration and border management technologies and capacity building.
  • Proven managerial experience in staff supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with governmental, diplomatic, and international organizations.
  • Experience in project development, implementation, reporting, and financial management.
  • Familiarity with UN and donor programme regulations.
  • Strong planning, coordination, and logistics skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, and computer proficiency.
  • Good knowledge of project management administrative, financial, and procedural aspects.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Efficiency, flexibility, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, management, and coordination abilities.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
