Job ObjectiveWe are seeking a qualified finance/economics professional with strong academic credentials, publications, and experience in securities markets, market data, and trading platforms.
Duties and responsibilitiesTeaching course units as allocated by the Chair of the Department.Designing, developing, planning, and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.Delivering high-quality lectures.Reviewing course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes, and the development of research activities.Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals.See

king and participating in consultancies.Presenting research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events.Disseminating research outputs.Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
qualification and experiencePhD in Finance/Economics (or Master's plus CFA/CPA-K and 5+ years' industry experience)At least 3 years of teaching/research experience at the University level as a Lecturer/ Research Fellow.Experience with securities market data and trading platforms.Has evidence of attending and contributing at academic conferences, seminars and workshops.Attracted research funds.Supervised at least two (2) postgraduate students to completion.Has evidence of publications as a Lecturer/Research Fellow.Is up to date with industry standards.Is a member of a relevant professional body.Interviews will be done a rolling basis.
