Role overview
Job ObjectiveWe are seeking a qualified Finance, IT or FinTech professional with experience in digital finance, mobile money, payments, digital lending or banking innovation, plus knowledge of financial-sector regulation and data protection.
Duties and responsibilitiesTo teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department. Designing, developing, planning and delivering a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels. Delivering high-quality lectures and practicals. Reviewing course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required. Collaborating with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.

Carrying out research and writing research grant proposals. Seeking and participating in consultancies. Presenting research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events. Dissemination of research outputs.
Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in your detailed job description
qualification and experiencePhD in Finance, IT or FinTech from a recognised/accredited University in the relevant field. Master's in Finance, IT or FinTech from a recognised/accredited University.Experience in mobile money, payments, digital lending or banking innovation Knowledge of financial-sector regulation and data protection.A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points, of which at least sixteen (16) are from refereed journal articles.At least three (3) years post-qualification work experience. Is up to date with industry standards.Be registered by a relevant professional bodyInterviews will be done a rolling basis.
