What you will do
- Support the Head of Balance Sheet Management in executing balance sheet strategies across funding, liquidity, asset and liability management, and governance.
- Produce analysis, forecasts, and management information related to funding and liquidity.
- Monitor adherence to regulatory and Board-approved limits and escalate any breaches or risks.
- Coordinate governance processes, including ALCO meetings, submissions, and documentation.
- Maintain and update contingency funding plans and support liquidity stress testing.
- Coordinate the annual ILAAP process and recovery and resolution planning activities.
- Ensure strong controls, data quality, and compliance through audits and regulatory reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, FRM, ACT, or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Finance, Risk, Economics, or Business Administration are an advantage.
- ACI qualification is also considered beneficial where financial markets activities are significant.
- At least seven years of relevant banking experience involving balance sheet management, capital management, funding and liquidity, ALM, FTP, Treasury Finance, or financial risk management.
- Experience preparing submissions for senior management, ALCO, Board, or regulatory purposes.
- Skills in financial modelling, forecasting, stress testing, and management information.
- Experience managing complex projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
- People management or team leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of banking, financial markets, prudential requirements, governance, and control standards.
- Advanced analytical, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
