What you will do
- Handle daily operational communication with clients, including receiving orders and requesting missing documents or instructions.
- Inform clients about the progress of their files.
- Manage file processing by updating clients and supervisors on progress and maintaining monitoring software status.
- Regularly archive physical and electronic files.
- Ensure client files contain all necessary attachments and maintain copies.
- Alert clients and escalate unresolved operational issues to management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding.
- At least 3 years of experience in Clearing and Forwarding.
- Possession of an East Africa Freight Forwarding Practicing Certificate is preferred.
