What you will do

  • Maintain precise inventory records for all coffee stored in the warehouse.
  • Verify that the physical stock locations match those recorded in the system.
  • Monitor stock movements within warehouse locations and independently confirm coffee issued to processing.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system balances.
  • Ensure coffee is only moved, processed, or dispatched with proper authorization and documentation.
  • Reconcile coffee returned from processing against the quantities originally issued.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations and prepare variance reports.
  • Identify coffee under restrictions, holds, or pending warrant cancellations.
  • Ensure inventory transactions have adequate supporting documentation and support full product traceability.
  • Promptly update system stock after dispatch and escalate any suspected stock tampering, unauthorized movement, contamination, or loss.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation and stock control procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience using ERP, Warehouse Management Systems, or other inventory management software.
  • Previous work experience in coffee, tea, grain, or other agricultural commodity warehousing.
  • Familiarity with handling large volume or bulk inventory.
  • Knowledge of coffee processing and export operations.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.
