What you will do
- Oversee the development and review of academic programs.
- Participate in approving student admissions for the department.
- Receive and orient new students registered in the department.
- Manage teaching and examination processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage student progression and graduation processes.
- Monitor attendance of both students and staff.
- Resolve concerns raised by students and staff promptly.
- Manage staff performance, attendance, leave, and discipline.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology or a related field from an accredited university.
- Master of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university.
- At least three years of university-level teaching experience.
- At least one year of management experience.
- Experience in publishing and participation in academic conferences, seminars, or workshops.
