What you will do

  • Lead and coordinate all club departments to maintain high service standards and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage annual plans, budgets, and forecasts while monitoring financial performance and controlling costs.
  • Oversee golf operations, hospitality, events, facilities maintenance, and overall member and guest experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, the Board, staff, sponsors, suppliers, and industry partners to enhance member engagement and retention.
  • Lead, develop, and evaluate departmental heads and staff to foster a collaborative and service-focused culture.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, manage risks effectively, maintain internal controls, and provide timely operational and financial reports to the Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience including five years in senior management within hospitality or a private members' club with profit-and-loss accountability.
  • Knowledge of golf operations, course management, and membership dynamics.
  • Strong skills in strategic leadership, financial management, people development, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and results orientation.
  • A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Prior General Manager experience in a similar club, familiarity with golf, or relevant professional membership is preferred.
