Forklift Operator

• Carry out pre-use inspections of forklifts and update maintenance and inspection records.
• Operate forklifts following site safety protocols and operational requirements.
• Keep forklifts clean and free from oil leaks.
• Check inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and damage, reporting any issues immediately.
• Communicate with supervisors and operators to manage material transfers effectively.
• Load and unload products and materials in assigned areas such as production lines and warehouses.
• Transport correct materials to production teams as directed by supervisors or managers.

• Diploma or Certificate in Plant Operation or higher qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience as a forklift operator in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments.
• Good knowledge of forklift maintenance and pre-use inspection processes.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure shipment accuracy and detect damage.
• Ability to stay composed and adhere to safety rules during busy periods.
• Effective communication skills to work with supervisors, production teams, and other operators.
• Capability to multitask and prioritise material movements to meet production goals.
• Basic problem-solving skills to identify equipment or material problems early.
