Refrigeration Technicians

• Install and commission various refrigeration systems such as walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, and industrial chillers.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance including cleaning coils, inspecting fans, and lubricating parts to prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system faults using diagnostic tools and electrical diagrams.
• Repair or replace faulty components including compressors, condensers, and control boards, ensuring leak-free refrigerant lines.
• Evaluate system performance through testing and generate detailed service reports with recommendations.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with customers to schedule services, provide updates, and explain repairs and maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols including use of PPE and proper refrigerant handling, maintaining a clean work environment.

• Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning.
• At least three years of relevant experience as a Refrigeration Technician.
• Good understanding of refrigeration systems and principles.
• Ability to use diagnostic and testing tools effectively.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Capable of reading and interpreting technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The salary offered is between KSHS 40,000 and 50,000 net per month.
