Finance Executive Director

• Prepare accurate monthly financial reports by the 20th with full reconciliation and no significant errors.
• Maintain a weekly updated 12-month rolling cash forecast to ensure liquidity and transparency.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting across departments, keeping variances within 10%.
• Develop automated workflows to reduce manual reporting time by at least 25% within the first year.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement financial strategies that improve profitability and increase EBITDA margin by two percentage points within 12 months.
• Document standard operating procedures for financial close, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting within three months.
• Introduce new systems for managing expenses, travel, and purchasing by the sixth month.
• Create financial dashboards and KPIs to support better decision-making.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations teams to align growth plans, cash flow, and inventory management.
• Assess and recommend technology solutions like ERP and reporting tools to prepare the company for scaling.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
• At least five years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including a minimum of three years in leadership roles.
• Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
• Experience implementing scalable financial systems and automation in growing organisations.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, compliance, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to simplify complex financial information.
• Experience in e-commerce or multi-channel retail is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and influence decisions at the executive level.
