What you will do

  • Design visual content for digital and print, including social media graphics, infographics, donor updates, and campaign materials.
  • Edit photos and videos from the field into short-form content for social media, websites, and reports.
  • Apply World Vision's branding guidelines consistently across all materials.
  • Create templates for recurring publications and social media posts.
  • Synchronise and manage photos, videos, and written content from field staff across Sudan response locations.
  • Prioritise and expedite editing and uploading of urgent content.
  • Maintain a well-organised digital asset library with proper naming, metadata, and consent documentation.
  • Track content submissions against a calendar and identify gaps.
  • Support scheduling and posting of approved content on World Vision Sudan's digital and social media channels.
  • Ensure field content meets advocacy and reporting priorities.
  • Respond promptly to urgent requests from the Communications Manager for visibility or advocacy materials.
  • Assist the Communications team during high-profile events with rapid content production.
  • Travel to field locations to support content collection when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Digital Communications, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar design and video editing software such as Canva.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design, multimedia production, or digital content management.
  • Experience working in NGOs, humanitarian, or media sectors is preferred.
  • Experience managing digital asset libraries or handling large volumes of content from field sources is an advantage.
  • Experience collaborating with remote or difficult-to-access field teams is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Based in Nairobi with ability to coordinate remotely with Sudan field staff.
