What you will do

  • Manage pricing strategies across all commercial segments.
  • Oversee customer contracts for all commercial segments.
  • Collaborate with teams in Supply, Legal, CSC, and GBS among others.
  • Communicate costings promptly across commercial segments.
  • Maintain customer master data integrity in SAP S4HANA.
  • Generate business insights to support decision-making.
  • Conduct profitability analysis to back customer business cases.
  • Forecast demand within a +/- 5% allowable DFA for integrated business planning.
  • Prepare reports and presentations.
  • Provide daily updates on business performance versus plan to stakeholders.
  • Assist with annual planning for volume, margins, operating expenses, and capital expenditure.
  • Work with the Aviation Assistant to support the aviation business.
  • Review and analyse credit and debit note requests before approval.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies for B2B and aviation tenders.
  • Analyse commercial results including volume, cost build-up, margins, and operating expenses and explain monthly variances.
  • Monitor cost management for capital and operating expenses to optimise return on investment.
  • Support health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) plans, including safety walkabouts, toolbox meetings, and reporting incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • CPA qualification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in strategy or business analysis.
  • Proactive, insight-driven, and accountable self-starter.
  • Results-oriented with strong business and commercial understanding.
  • Good team player with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct ethical market and competitive analysis.
  • Commitment to health, safety, security and environment (HSSE).
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4HANA and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Understanding of accounting processes and transaction processing.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Constructive scepticism.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is preferred.
  • Familiarity with commercial sales processes.
