Clinical Instructor - Nursing

• Teach courses assigned by the Head of Department.
• Design, develop, plan, and deliver various study programmes, including new courses at different levels.
• Conduct lectures and practical sessions of high quality.
• Supervise clinical practice to provide students with practical learning in hospitals or clinical environments.
• Regularly review and update course content and materials.
• Collaborate with academic staff on curriculum development and research activities.
• Carry out research, write grant proposals, and present findings at conferences.
• Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
• Ensure academic activities comply with Nursing Council of Kenya standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
• At least three years of work experience after qualification.
• A valid practising license from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.
• Experience in a university setting is preferred.
