ACCOUNTANT, Finance

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
• Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Prepare documentation for audits and liaise with external auditors.
• File statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, NSSF, NHIF, Withholding Tax).

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures.
• Provide variance analysis and recommendations for cost control.

Process Improvement & Support

• Identify opportunities for efficiency in accounting processes.
• Support implementation of financial systems and automation.
• Provide financial advice to management and other departments.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• CPA-K qualification (mandatory).
• At least 5 years’ experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
