Journalist Mary Mwendwa of TalkAfrica interviewed Oleg Cherkas, the founder of work.ke, about why he started the site and how it works.
Oleg explains that work.ke collects open roles every day from more than 300 sources, including employer career pages, recruitment agencies and public job boards, and links every advert to the real employer. Applying is always free.
He also talks about how we keep fake adverts off the site, which jobs students and graduates look for most, why so few adverts show the pay, and our plan to reach a million job seekers within two years.
Thank you, Mary, and the TalkAfrica team for telling our story.
