a. Duties and Responsibilities An officer at this level will be deployed at Agricultural Machinery Service – where they will be involved in; - i. Minor services of plant machinery and farm tractors, ii. Care for and maintenance of tools of the trade; and iii. Maintaining cleanliness of the workplace. iv. Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor
b. Requirements for appointment For appointment to this grade, a candidate must i. Be a Kenyan Citizen (Attach ID) ii. KCPE and KCSE Certificate with a mean grade D+ (Plus) (Attach certificates) iii.

Have Plant Mechanics National Trade Test Certificate Grade III/ apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution. iv. At least one (1 )year experience (Attach evidence).
