What you will do
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately according to prescriptions.
- Provide patients with clear instructions on medication dosage, administration, and possible side effects.
- Maintain pharmaceutical product stock levels and monitor expiry dates.
- Record and manage drug inventory and stock movements.
- Offer professional guidance and answer customer inquiries about medications.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations and maintain accurate dispensing records.
- Support inspections and audits as required.
Requirements
- Hold a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Have at least one year of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
- Be registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
- Possess good knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages, and dispensing practices.
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrate good communication and customer service skills.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Benefits
The salary for this position is KSh 45,000 per month.
