About this role
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Store Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across the store(s), ensuring efficient workflows, proper stock handling, excellent customer service, and smooth coordination between operational functions.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, ordering processes, and product availability while minimizing stock-outs, expiries, losses, and operational inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and controls that improve productivity, service delivery, cost management, and overall store performance.
Compliance & Quality Management
- Ensure operations comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulations, company policies, health and safety requirements, and internal operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, licenses, records, reports, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Conduct regular operational checks and audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to maintain required standards.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate store teams, ensuring adequate staffing, clear responsibilities, effective scheduling, and adherence to performance standards.
- Set performance expectations, monitor staff productivity, provide coaching, and address performance or disciplinary issues appropriately.
- Foster a professional, accountable, and customer-focused work environment while ensuring staff follow operational and pharmaceutical procedures.
Supplier & Business Coordination
- Manage relationships with suppliers and coordinate procurement, deliveries, order fulfillment, stock availability, and resolution of supply-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance, pricing, delivery timelines, product availability, and quality to support efficient business operations.
- Work closely with management, finance, procurement, pharmacy, and other relevant teams to resolve operational challenges and support business objectives.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, retail pharmacy, healthcare, or FMCG sector.
- Proven experience managing store operations, staff, inventory, suppliers, and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of operational controls, inventory management, procurement, and documentation.
- Strong leadership, planning, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
