What you will do
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with partners at all organisational levels.
- Serve as the main contact between Turaco and its partners, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
- Conduct regular partner reviews and field visits to identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate partnership launches and resolve partner challenges promptly.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to increase partner activation and customer engagement.
- Monitor partner performance and develop plans to address underperformance.
- Lead market intelligence activities and represent Turaco professionally in Kenya.
- Ensure timely invoicing and payment collection from partners.
- Work closely with various internal teams to resolve partner issues quickly and improve service.
- Use partner feedback to enhance products, processes, and overall partner experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in partnerships management or account management within financial services, microfinance, fintech, or related sectors.
- Experience working with Off-Grid Asset Finance companies, Micro-Finance Institutions, tech-forward insurance companies, or high-growth asset finance startups.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging executives and frontline teams.
- Analytical and presentation skills comfortable with data-driven storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and markets.
- Understanding of financial inclusion, microfinance, agricultural networks, or mass-market fintech platforms in Kenya.
- Experience in a similar country-level role working with central teams.
- Knowledge of mobile money ecosystems and asset financing in Kenya.
