We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring complete accuracy in inventory records, leading regular stock reconciliations, and investigating variances to safeguard company assets and support financial integrity.
i. Maintain accurate and updated inventory records across all company warehouses. ii. Perform routine physical-to-system stock reconciliations and prepare comprehensive inventory reports. iii. Lead periodic physical stock takes across all warehouse locations in coordination with warehouse and audit teams. iv. Analyze inventory aging to identify and report obsolete, non-moving, or slow-moving stock, proposing action plans and cost-saving measures. vi. Ensure strict adherence to internal financial controls, audit standards, and inventory monitoring protocols. vii.
Collaborate closely with finance, audit, and warehouse personnel to continuously optimize inventory processes and warehouse personnel to continuously optimize inventory workflows.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- Professional Qualification: CPA (K) or ACCA qualification (fully qualified or final stage).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in inventory accounting, stock control, or audit.
- Manufacturing experience is mandatory
a) Strong expertise in inventory reconciliation and variance analysis. b) High ethical standards and uncompromising integrity in financial management. c) Demonstrated problem-solving and investigation skills. d) Proficiency in ERP software (inventory modules) and advanced MS Excel.
