What you will do

  • Implement ICT policies, strategies, regulations, standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct cybersecurity surveillance and provide recommendations.
  • Support systems audits and ICT innovation initiatives.
  • Assist in environmentally friendly digital technology and e-waste management strategies.
  • Help implement data management and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Provide technical support for government service digitalization.
  • Install and configure ICT systems, databases, applications, networks, data center services and communication systems.
  • Support system and data backups and recovery.
  • Implement standard operating procedures for ICT infrastructure, software, systems and business continuity.
  • Collect ICT operational data for reporting and performance optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, software and hardware problems.
  • Maintain and repair ICT equipment and software applications.
  • Manage ICT help desk services, provide end user support and capacity building.
  • Assist with information security management and related procedures.
  • Support ICT risk management strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Communications Technology, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Software Engineering, Business Information Technology, Data Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Cyber Security or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.

Benefits

The salary ranges from KES 41,420 to 57,230. The position is permanent and pensionable.
