What you will do

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies by identifying growth areas and potential partners.
  • Build and maintain a portfolio of strategic alliances and manage relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities including acquisitions, market expansion, and securing grants or contracts.
  • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements while ensuring compliance with regulations and protecting the Group's interests.
  • Monitor financial reports and KPIs to evaluate the return on investment and health of partnerships.
  • Prepare updates and presentations for executive committees or the Board on partnership progress and revenue targets.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a team focused on business development and partnerships, managing budgets and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
  • At least 8 years of relevant management experience.
  • Experience in commercialising new ventures from pilot to scale.
  • At least 8 years of progressive business development management experience.
  • Proven ability to drive business growth through strategic partnerships.
  • Skills in deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Experience in high-level stakeholder management.
  • Experience in post-deal performance management and realising value benefits.
  • People management and supervisory skills.
  • Professional qualifications in Marketing or Financial/Investment analysis are preferred.
  • A Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred.
